Laura is the lead strength coach at Accelerate Performance Centre. Her areas of expertise include:

  • Endurance coaching
  • Strength and conditioning for runners
  • Nutrition coaching
  • Biomechanics coaching

Laura has worked in fitness for almost a decade, starting as a personal trainer in corporate gyms and teaching fitness classes. Over the years CPD has led her more specifically into run coaching and she has been part of the APC team since 2015. Laura works with a wide range of runners across road and trail, with goals from 5km through to multi-day ultra marathons, and has seen great results in the shape of PBs, podium finishes, and outright wins. She leads several strength classes and group sessions each week at a range of locations across the city.

When she isn’t coaching, Laura enjoys exploring the trails on the west side of Sheffield, climbing, eating cheese, and, when she gets chance, entering very long races!
